Sonia Overall is a writer, academic and woman who walks.
Sonia is interested in the relationship between self and place, walking and ideation, and uses psychogeographical techniques in her writing and teaching practice. She has written papers and presented at conferences on walking and writing. Sonia is a published novelist and poet. Her chapbook The Art of Walking (Shearsman, 2015) explores responses to place and psychogeography.
Sonia is a lecturer in Creative Writing at Canterbury Christ Church University, where she has created a turf labyrinth for use by students, staff and visitors.
