Walk Ways: campus walks

I’m currently devising and delivering a series of campus-based walks at my home institute, Canterbury Christ Church University, with network member Victoria Field and our colleague Simon Wilson. The project is funded by Futures Initiative, a CCCU Sustainability project fund.

The first stage of the project involves a series of six walks for staff and students, drawing on our teaching and research practices: Victoria is a poetry therapist; Simon is interested in mapping heritage and culture; I’m a psychogeographer and lover of labyrinths.

Are we the only people doing this? I doubt it. If you are based at an academic institute with a campus and have run – or are considering running – any campus-based walking projects, I would love to hear from you.
